Clearing Conditional Formatting

**Clearing Conditional Formatting** removes any existing formatting rules applied to cells, restoring the default formatting. It is useful for resetting the visual appearance of a dataset before applying new rules.

Steps to Clear Conditional Formatting

  • Step 1: Select the range of cells with conditional formatting.
  • Step 2: Go to the Home tab and click Conditional Formatting.
  • Step 3: Choose Clear Rules, then select Clear Rules from Selected Cells or Clear Rules from Entire Sheet.
  • Step 4: The conditional formatting is removed, and the cells return to their default appearance.
