74. Adding color scales
Adding Color Scales
**Color Scales** in Excel are used to apply gradient-based formatting to cells based on their values. Higher values are shaded with one color, lower values with another, and mid-range values with a gradient between the two. This makes it easy to visualize data distributions.
Steps to Add Color Scales
- Step 1: Select the range of cells where you want to apply color scales.
- Step 2: Go to the Home tab and click Conditional Formatting.
- Step 3: Choose Color Scales from the options.
- Step 4: Select a color gradient style, and Excel automatically applies it to the cells.
